Scope
Secure contract of carbon ash material and acquire approval from the environmental authorities for the use of carbon ash material in cement.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and environmental analysis of the recycling of hazardous material (Carbon Ash) in cement plant.
- Obtain environmental approval and certificate.
- Outsource and sign deals with Carbon Ash producers.
- Manage stakeholders.
Achievements
- Acquire the first national approval in Saudi Arabia to recycle Carbon Ash eliminating landfills of the material.
- Secured several contracts from government agencies such as SEC, NOMAC (AcwaPower), SWCC, and Marafiq.
Tyre Recycling (Pre-Processing/Co-Processing) Platform
Scope
Manage and recycle municipal tyre waste at the municipal landfill.
Responsibilities
- Project tendering.
- Project initiation and commissioning.
- Select the right equipment.
- Stakeholder management
- Manage local authorities’ requirements regarding environmental and health & safety.
Achievements
- The facility managed to recycle 1.6 million tyres during the pandemic period and is expected to reach a recycling target of 4 million tyres annually.
ISO/Carbon Footprint Certificate
Scope
Acquire green & environmentally friendly certification for a company’s plant and product.
Responsibilities
- Issue carbon footprint measurement.
- Produce technical and Gap Analysis reports while partnering with an international consultant.
- Implement IMS standards related to energy and environment: (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 50001:2018).
Achievements
- Full implementation of 4 ISO standards and Acquire of Carbon Footprint saving certificate.
Adahi Project
Scope
Subject Matter Expert with KPMG advising Islamic Development Bank on ADAHI.
Outcome

Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage
Scope
Design a CO2 capture project to be utilized in oil wells for enhancing the extraction of oil.

- Full project design (system, plan and framework).
- Recommend and select the right technology.
- Secure funding.
- Develop the pilot model for the first stage.
Yanbu Waste Management Platform
Scope
Develop waste management facility in Royal Commission Yanbu.
Outcome
- Project bidding and tendering.
- Recommend and select the right technology.
- Led partnership discussion with international/local technical partner.
